National recruitment body style rebrand
The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), the body which represents the UK recruitment industry, has commissioned leading consultancy White Total Design to undertake a style rebrand and produce a complete set of brand guidelines.
Lucy Geldard, Director of Brand Development at the REC, explained: “The REC is a large, complex organisation with many corporate and individual members who use our house style and identity in their marketing materials. We have different divisions and a diverse range of audiences and therefore needed a strong and consistent corporate identity with an immediately recognisable house style.”
Nick Burgoyne, Account Director at White Total Design, said: “The REC had brand guidelines in place but these needed to be re-developed to reflect the organisation’s growth, authority and professionalism. Our expertise in brand development and brand communications enabled us to work with the REC at a strategic level to help the REC to develop their brand for the long term.”
Lucy Geldard added: “The result is an extremely comprehensive and accessible resource pack comprising design templates and colour palettes which we now use faithfully and share with our members. All published materials now consistently reinforce the organisation’s brand values including a commitment to high standards, good ethics and accountability.”
The REC represents the £24.5billion recruitment industry and has over 7000 corporate and 5000 individual members.
