Bayer Healthcare Case Study

Bayer is a global enterprise with core competencies in the fields of healthcare, nutrition and high-tech materials. Their products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life. At the same time Bayer aims to create value through innovation and growth.

The Brief

To support a major new product launch we were commissioned to create, design and print a full training manual for Bayer’s sales managers and representatives. In addition, we needed to source medical copywriters and produce suitable illustrations to support the product and training materials.

The solution

The introduction of an important drug required a complete set of 5 training manuals, with illustrations, training hints and revision questions.

The comprehensive training manuals were comprised of 5 modules including: Disease, Guide to Microbiology, Treatments, Product Details and Training Notes. The set was enclosed in a 4-ring binder to ensure that the materials were maintained in excellent condition. The branding across the 5 modules and the cover reflected the use of the new drug and enabled the reader to easily distinguish between modules and subject matter.

David Ives-Farren, Creative Director at WTD: “This project needed an overall theme and design style to bring all the elements together. By creating the style, including lifestyle imagery and commissioning unique illustrations, the modules were brought to life in an interesting and engaging way.”

Feedback response from the sales teams and managers was extremely positive reflecting the quality of the materials produced, the layout of the information and the overall design of the training package.
